'Baghdad Eye' To Draw Tourists
The country was looking for companies to submit designs to build the giant wheel - dubbed 'The Baghdad Eye'. It will soar more than 650ft over the city and feature air-conditioned compartments that would each carry up to 30 passengers, Baghdad municipality spokesman Adel al Ardawi said. Mr Ardawi declined to give an estimated construction cost or timeline, but was confident about the viability of the wheel. "This wheel will be taller than the iconic 443-foot London Eye," he said.
(MD says... What can I say that hasn't been said before? The Halifax 76ers and the MK 45's know what I mean. The time is coming folks when you are going to have to make a choice. Stay sat on your arses in front of your computers, playing fairies on forums, or find some guts from somewhere and speak up. I know that is an impossible task for some but it is entirely your choice. Do the former and play fairies and I guarantee WE will suffer eternal hell in this world.) ...WAKE UP!!!

PS... sorry if I sound a tad passionate on this matter but a 'Ferris wheel on the Tigris' is on a par with building a new colossus on Rodos in my opinion and the passionate comment above does not apply to Colin Fry... because he will always play at being fairies, he has no choice. He's such a nice boy.

Obama Speech Stage Resembles Ancient Greek Temple
(Thanking Brent for the pic..) DENVER (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple. The stage, similar to structures used for rock concerts, has been set up at the 50-yard-line, the midpoint of Invesco Field, the stadium where the Denver Broncos' National Football League team plays. Some 80,000 supporters will see Obama appear from between plywood columns painted off-white, reminiscent of Washington's Capitol building or even the White House, to accept the party's nomination for president.

(MD says... I reported in a (nearly) world famous Delooze News Special Report about Obama in Berlin a few weeks ago. I also previously reported on his symbolism. But hey... don't blame me for the Obama Sun Temple tour, I only mentioned the previous stuff cos I'd nowt else to do. I only used to sweep up and make the tea but I have progressed to providing the odd custard cream biscuit and jammy dodger now though! Anyways....here's hoping I get to the chocolate eclairs before I leave this world! Maybe one day enough will wake up and see that what I have said about spiritual energy extraction through symbols and monuments maybe true.)

Capital parties like it's 2012
They had been asked to party like it was 2012 - and the crowd at the Olympic handover party on The Mall duly obliged. An estimated 40,000 people celebrated Team GB's astonishing success in Beijing, but were also anticipating the country's starring role in four years' time. In the shadow of Buckingham Palace and overlooked by a host of London landmarks, there was excitement that it was now the capital's turn in the spotlight

Northern Lights Blackpool The future of Blackpool's Promenade
A Delooze News Special Report
SHAFTS of light bouncing off clouds and a laser-generated zebra were announced today as the inspiration for Blackpool’s multi-million pound new seafront. Regeneration bosses have chosen Northern Lights as the winner of a global design competition to come up with ideas which will now make up a submission for £21m of Lottery funding. London-based LDA Design beat off rival bids featuring a giant snow dome, performing flamingo sculptures, an artificial sun and a giant red ribbon which would have linked the six new headlands being built. Nepal looks for new "living goddess"
KATHMANDU (Reuters) - Religious authorities in Nepal have begun the search for a girl who could be as young as three or four to serve as the new Kumari, or the virgin "living goddess", in a centuries-old tradition.... I believe she is the goddess," said 50-year-old Saili Tamang, selling the present Kumari's pictures outside the temple. "Otherwise why would people respect her ?"

The greatest show the world has ever seen?
 Need I say more?
Roll Up and be sucked dry..'Apollo Mart' is open for business
This, it was hard if not impossible to dispute, was the greatest show the world had ever seen and it brought joy that became delirium in 1.3 billion people.... ....Such reaction peaked at the dramatically staged climax, when the final bearer of the torch that had been so regularly attacked on its route around the world, the former gymnast Li Ning, was whisked on wires around what seemed to be the very eaves of the stadium before igniting the great cauldron. Then, thousands ran into the streets cheering and weeping.
(MD says .. If you have read my most recent article and also actually caught a glimpse of the 'Opening' Ceremony you may realise that the ritual that took place in Olympia in March has simply 'endorsed' the events in Beijing. The Olympic games STILL take place in honour of the 'Gods'. Indeed because of the ritual in Olympia it means the stadiums bearing the torch in China have now literally become replicas of the temples in olympia. The torch acts a 'shop sign' (Apollo's temple is now open, come on in and release your energy, so to speak!) The stadiums literally become Sun Temples. All the spiritual energy that is then created by the blind crowd is harnessed and transferred to the 4th dimensional entities that 'created' the mythical gods as their official agents. Just like symbolic Sun god Jesus and his Dad and other serpentine created deceivers that hide in the same symbolism do. But hey... don't blame me I told you years ago I only sweep up and make the tea. I'm sure the world leaders that attended this ceremony have your best interest at heart eh?)
One thing is for sure this Apollo worshipping event is not the greatest show ever seen as described in the Independent. That will be here when it is ready. Believe me on that one!
